Using my Oscilloscope

Well, after much delay I am finally starting to learn how to use an Oscilloscope. Not sure just what the reason why I was so hesitant to begin with, but I decided to jump in and start learning how to use this valuable tool.
An oscilloscope is not an easy thing to use at first but as you get more comfortable with it I am sure that it will save me a lot of time diagnosing electronic circuits as I learn how to work on them.

I have been following the tutorials on YouTube from W2AEW on different things that can be done with an Oscilloscope that are very helpful as he explains how to use them from a beginners standpoint.

  2. I have been toying with the idea of getting a scope but have not taken the plunge as of yet. I too have seen the YouTube videos as well and they are great. I have built many Elecraft projects including the K2. I am not working on my second K2 and I am sure the scope would come in handy but as of yet I have not taken the plunge.

    1. I am still at a very basic level, but I hope that with time I can get to the point where I can do most of my own repairs. I also hope that I can get to a point where I can work on boatanchor gear.
