Just curious as to how CB or Citizens band played a part in Hurricane Sandy. Were the REACT stations active during this time. I know that in times of emergency Amateur radio operators are activated as part of the ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) group which i hear and read about all the time. You don't hear much about the REACT group, a group of radio operators that monitor CB channel 9 for local emergencies and citizens that are in distress.
