Decided to try and ressurect the Hygain beam this weekend. So far it has turned into a LOT of work. Had to clean everything, build a matching network for it, replace a LOT of hardware, tape up ALL the traps since the plastic covers are pretty much trashed, and figure out a way to straighten the boom, as well as the sag in the arms. I think that I am almost ready to put it up in the air, once I measure all the connections per the manual, and tune it with the antenna analyzer. Hope to have it up in the air tuesday or wednesday, weather permitting.
